To investigate the differences in the level of speech therapy and speech therapy education between undergraduate and doctoral level in speech practice research, a quantitative study was conducted. The study covered the course of speech therapy as a prerequisite for the degree in speech practice. A total of 77 undergraduate and 5 doctoral students were included in the study. The number of students was 10,892 undergraduate and 5,621 doctoral students. The difference in students’ level of speech treatment between undergraduate and PhD was significant (p<0.05). Moreover, the difference in students's level of speech education between undergraduate students and doctoral students was significant ( p<0.01). The difference in degrees' level of education was larger than the difference in degrees of education in the course of education. The difference of the number of students in the course and degree were significant ( p <0.01) and the results showed that the difference in the number of undergraduates' degree was significant ( P<0.001). The difference of degrees' level was also significant (P<0.02). The increase of students' level was significant (P=0.03). The results of the study indicated that the level of education of undergraduate students was higher than that of doctoral students. Moreover, the differences in students' degree tended to be higher than those in degree of education. Our results indicated that the degree of education of doctoral students was higher.
